There are two types of claims:
a) Cashless
b) Reimbursement
Cashless claims are those which are done within the prefered network I.e. garages/hospitals.
The first step involves reporting your claims to the TPA/insurer. You can report your claims with the insurer through the following mediums; online (web/app), at branches, at their central claim care helpline, through SMS/WhatsApp or e-mail of the respective insurer/TPA.
Share the document as instructed by the Insurer/TPA. Claim assistance team from respective insurer will assess your claim, and inform you in case any further documents need to be submitted.
Your insurer will inform you post the claim is review and accepted. The claim settlement letter is shared by the TPA/Insurer. In case of cashless claim settlement is done within 3 hours, reimbursement claims are settled within 7 days.
